Safety and Rules: These rules will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety, no exceptions.CHAMBER FLAGS WILL BE REQUIRED< BRING ONE WITH YOU.
–This is a cold range; rifles will remain unloaded with magazines out and bolts OPEN and BACK. You will only load your rifle when being instructed by an RO prior to the start of your stage. NEVER “TEST” your rifle for feed issues with live ammo. IF YOU ARE HAVING RIFLE ISSUES, find an NRL representative or JIM SEE. We will have a designated safe area for rifle repairs. Anyone found to have a round in the chamber outside of the direct supervision of a RO or MD will be DQed from the event.
–Muzzle control is paramount to safety. Rifles will be carried muzzle up or muzzle down. NEVER allow your muzzle to sweep any part of your body or someone else’s body. You will receive NO warning for sweeping a person, violating this rule WILL get you DQed/removed from the match with no warning.
–Safety is everyone’s responsibility, if you see a safety violation point it out to a violator, the nearest RO, or the Match Director.
–Sky loading is 100% prohibited on this range. You will receive one warning for first offense, a stage DQ for second offence, and match removal for third offense. You must be looking thru your optic on the target berm, before closing the bolt.
–Clear your rifle, before you pick up your rifle from a barricade or prone stage you will operate the bolt to the back and the Magazine will be removed, chamber flag inserted into chamber. No exceptions. DO NOT PICK UP YOUR RIFLE UNTIL IT IS CLEARED.
    – We will enforce a 90-degree rule on muzzle control during your stages. 180 rule does not apply at this range. RO’s will instruct you on your safe angle of muzzle control during your stage.
–Safety or Scoring Protest will be handled by Jim See. If for any reason that an RO and shooter do not come to a quick and civil agreement, call in Jim.
    – Our Range Officers are volunteers be respectful and polite. If you want to be a dick call in Jim See, he is easily entertained by lively discussions.
    – Staging rifles and Gear, we will have designated safe areas market with survey flags to ground rifles, pointed in a safe direction. Rifles grounding outside of those flagged areas will not be tolerated.
Rules not addressed here specifically will fall on the NRL standard operating rules found here:
