The National Rifle League is now accepting applications to host a NRL sanctioned match, and be a part of the Board of Directors for the 2018 Season.
Santa Ana, CA – The National Rifle League (NRL), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, is pleased to announce it is currently accepting applications from match directors interested in a key role for the upcoming 2018 season.
Match Directors are the Heart of the NRL, and serve as members of the Board of Directors. This ensures that they are directly in control of their respective match, rules, regulations, and say-so of the League. The NRL believes that putting the power in the hands of the people who run the matches ensures every regions needs are met.
“Good Leadership is a necessity. No matter how passionate we are about our vision or how well we design our structure, the NRL cannot thrive without good leadership with a strong understanding of his or her region. Identifying and engaging dedicated leaders must be a constant activity,” Travis Ishida, President of National Rifle League.
*All applications will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis will have a limited amount of matches for the 2018 season to help ensure quality over quantity.
*There is a limit of one Board of Director per state unless it is a large state, that will be taken into consideration.
*Submissions accepted the next 60 days, but may end sooner
*The plan is to announce the 2018 season in October of 2017
