The 5th annual JC Steel Target Challenge presented by Caracal USA is the fifth match of the NRL’s 2018 Season.
Santa Ana, CA – The National Rifle League (NRL), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announced today that the fifth match of the 2018 season will be the JC Steel Target Challenge, presented by Carcal USA.
The 2-day match will take place May 5th-6th, 2018 at Blue Ridge Ranch located in Benge, WA. This will be the second NRL match ever held in Washington. Last year, the sold-out match provided a course of fire that included a helicopter, where competitors got to engage targets while flying in air. Registration cost for this year’s match is $279 per person, which covers food and shooters bag.
Jake Vibbert will once again be directing the JC Steel Target Challenge. Jake finished 2nd overall for the NRL’s inaugural season last year. “Shooters can expect ranges of 1-1400 yards. Many targets will be in the 200-800 range. Pistol targets will be from 10-50 yards” Jake on what competitors can expect from the match. “You will be shooting fully automatic weapons. It’s a once in a lifetime adventure I recommend to everyone!”
