National Rifle League Announces The 2019 NRL Championship

The 2019 NRL Championship will be hosted by TX Precision Matches in Navasota, Texas

Yorba Linda, CA – National Rifle League (NRL), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announced that the 2019 NRL Championship will be hosted by TX Precision Matches in Navasota, Texas.

The 2019 NRL Championship, presented by Nikon, will be head December 7-8th at CCC Shooting Complex. This is the final 2-day, national-level match of NRL’s 3rd Season, and will consist of the Season’s Top Competitors, Ladies, Young Guns, NRL Border War members, International Competitors, and invites from the 2019 NRL Board of Directors.

“2019 was a year of tremendous growth for the NRL, and to have the ability to host the Championship in Texas is the perfect way to end a fantastic season,” stated Travis Ishida, NRL President. “This year, the Championship is especially unique because we have invited some of the top competitors from NRL South Africa and the NRL Border War series to join us as competitors battle it out to find out who is the best. Not to mention we have a few surprises up our sleeves at this event.”

“We are honored to host the best NRL shooters in the world for a Championship weekend in the great state of Texas,” said Dave Ferguson, Championship Co-Director. “We look forward to sharing our hospitality, challenging course of fire, unpredictable weather and outstanding food with competitors, sponsors and guests. Our staff along with 50+ RO’s will result in an efficient enjoyable match. We’ll top off the weekend with an award banquet in an old restored cotton gin, Texas style!”

TX Precision Matches was created for shooters that “just want to shoot.” Many shooters don’t have the time or desire to become involved in all the behind the scenes work that goes into putting together a Precision rifle Match. We have been involved in shooting and hosting Precision rifle Matches on a local and national level for several years. We take pride in the Matches we produce and fully understand that the work put into a Match will reflect in the outcome. We aim to provide a challenging course of fire that is fair for all types of shooters. We stay away from stage designs that benefit left or right-handed shooters or favor one particular body type over another. We don’t design stages that require expensive specialized gear. The Match should be won on skill, not an equipment budget. We believe the shooter that makes precise shots and hits the most steel should and will come out on top at each Match. For over 100 years, the guiding principle behind every Nikon product has been to engineer it from the inside out and create an optical system specific to the function of the product and to the needs of the user. As one of the few makers of optical glass in the world, Nikon has the advantage of being able to specify and select the exact type of glass, lens geometry and multicoatings needed to optimize the optical performance of any given optic. The result is what we call our “Optics First Design Principle,” and it applies to every binocular, riflescope, fieldscope and laser rangefinder that bears the Nikon brand.
