22 lr performance in cold temps

Since a lot of NRL22 matches are being held in cold temps, maybe we can share our experiences and/or tips on ammo performance on this forum rather than Rimfire Central or others. With the 10/22 being so popular, I’m sure cold temps have affected your scores at least some, and bolt actions have some issues too. My last match was at temp of 25-30 degrees, and I had some chemical handwarmers that I used to keep fingers warm, but also to keep my loaded clip warm between stages in my shirt pocket inside my jacket. I don’t think it made much difference in my score, but I am far from a top shooter. What have you learned?

That is a great idea I will give it a try this next match
